Dr. Rand Younes

General Dentist

Dr Rand recently joined our clinical team at IMDS. She finished a degree of Bachelor of Dental Science from Charles Sturt University. She was awarded First Prize award across National final year dental students for her research on the ‘Discolouration of Endodontically treated teeth, prevention and management’ by the Australian Endodontic Society (AES).

Dr Rand has been working in the dental field for the last 5 years and is passionate about creating long term relationships with her patients ensuring that they are comfortable throughout procedures and that her patients walk out with the confident smile that they deserve.

She is committed to delivering the best care to her patients and hence is always researching the latest technology for the best treatment outcomes and aesthetic results. She is an active member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and the Australian Endodontic Society (AES). She is also a clinical educator for 3rd and 4th year dental students at Charles Sturt University. Despite the demands of her work, she finds time to volunteer to provide the less fortunate and homeless with free dental care.

When not at work, you will find Rand at the CrossFit gym, on a hike with friends, painting, reading or spending time with her family and younger siblings.

Zainab Subarin

Oral Health Therapist

My name is Zainab and I am part of the practitioner’s team at IMDS. I graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Oral health therapy and hygiene and have worked with children and adults of all ages in the community to help them maintain healthy teeth and gums. I bring a friendly and fun approach to your treatment plan so that you will be comfortable while we work together to achieve the best results possible.

I believe that simple preventative measures can improve one’s quality of life!
My goal is to help patients understand their oral health while they’re young so they can continue to maintain it throughout their lives and strive to provide the highest quality dental care and preventative measures for patients by utilizing the best of my skills and abilities.

I enjoy spending quality time with friends and family, exploring new activities, and living life to the fullest. And a fun fact— I can speak 3 languages!

Abeer Latfa

Oral Health Therapist

Hello! My name is Abeer and I am the Oral Health Therapist at IMDS and am very passionate about providing preventive and restorative dental care for both adults and children. I graduated from Newcastle University with a Bachelor’s in Oral Health Therapy and since then have set a goal for my career to encourage all my patients to have the best oral health care and to contribute to reducing oral diseases in our community. I have a very kind and caring manner with every patient I see and enjoy listening and answering all their questions. I am constantly learning about the latest advancements in oral health and have a special interest in airway function and its effect on oral health, sleep, and someone’s quality of life.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my children and cooking yummy treats for them!

Amreen Khan

Oral Health Therapist

Hi, I am Amreen, an Oral Health Therapist at IMDS! I have extensive experience in mobile dentistry and specifically working in both regional and rural NSW and Victoria. As a clinician, I firsthand witnessed the discrepancies in access to oral health care in rural areas and appreciate the amount of work needed from us which is a driving and motivating factor for me in this field! I am committed to IMDS vision of making dentistry accessible to all Australians. My favorite part about our dental visits is our educational program which is designed to break down children’s anxiety towards their dental visit, they’re always excited to see us! It also helps us reinforce the importance of oral health from an early age!

I ensure to stay up to date with the latest advancements and techniques in oral health therapy and regularly attend continuing education courses and conferences. This ensures that I can provide my patient’s the highest level of care.

Outside of dentistry, I enjoy traveling and trying new brunch places with friends :)

Zeina

Dental Nurse, Customer Happiness Officer

Hi, My name is Zeina and I am the Dental Nurse and Customer Happiness Officer at IMDS – in reality, everyone calls me the clinic mum. I enjoy working with children and am committed to making their dental experience as comfortable and positive as possible. I am described by our school teachers and parents as warm and friendly which helps me put children at ease. I enjoy running our educational programs with our team and make sure to take the time to explain procedures in a way that is easy for the children to understand. I learn something new every day from the children around me!

I am also the Customer Happiness Officer at IMDS so I ensure that our schools, aged care and childcare centers have all the information needed prior to our visit. I also answer our patient guardian’s inquiries and help guide them throughout their child’s dental treatment plan. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my kids and loved ones!

Nadia Ziyadeh

Dental Nurse & Clinic Supervisor

Hi! My name is Nadia and I am the Dental Nurse and Clinic Supervisor at IMDS – aka another clinic mum! As part of my role I work closely with all of our team members to ensure that we are providing exceptional customer service to our patients and am dedicated to ensuring that our visits operate smoothly and efficiently. I help our clinic stay up to date with our accreditation and always looking for ways to improve our processes and knowledge.

My previous role was a TESOL teacher for newly arrived migrants – teaching them English as a second language. This experience helped me implement different teaching strategies in our educational program at IMDS. I strongly believe in Nelson Mendella’s quote “Education is the strongest weapon you can use to change the world”.

Outside of work I enjoy travelling, spending time with my kids, exploring new places and hikes!
